What support is available through The Loving Path?
Every pet, every family, and every situation is unique. Support doesn’t have to follow a straight line. Lap of Love’s services are designed to meet you wherever you are, so you can get exactly what you need, right when you need it.
Created by Lap of Love veterinarians, these resources support the unique needs of aging companions. Our robust collection includes educational articles on common pet ailments, quality-of-life assessment tools, videos, webinars, and newsletters designed to guide pet families with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
Our telehospice veterinarians with Advanced Peaceful Euthanasia certification help you assess your pet’s quality of life through phone or virtual consultation. They’ll provide education on prognosis and offer practical advice to enhance comfort. This is especially helpful when you’re wrestling with the question, “How do I know it’s time to say goodbye?”
Our veterinarians come to your home to provide personalized care that honors your pet’s routine and focuses on preserving quality of life through symptom and pain management. Certified Hospice Care Nurses offer care plans, help with prescriptions, and provide additional resources. Available seven days a week, they give compassionate virtual support.
Delivered with unrushed care by our Advanced Certified Peaceful Euthanasia veterinarians, comfort-focused in-home euthanasia lets your family share a final “I love you” where your pet feels safest. Pet lovers seeking a beautiful, dignified passing choose to say goodbye with Lap of Love at home, where they can grieve in private. Making this choice is one of the most loving acts you can offer.
The path to healing is different for everyone. Lap of Love’s certified grief counselors provide compassionate guidance through complimentary group sessions, grief resources, focused small-group support, and personalized one-on-one sessions, offering families a safe environment and emotional support to help navigate life after saying goodbye to a beloved pet.
Our Veterinary Care Coordinators are all certified in peaceful euthanasia and provide personalized support 24 hours a day, every day of the year. They listen with compassion and guide families through the decision-making process, helping determine what is best for them and their beloved pet, and assist with scheduling in-home and virtual appointments.

“Each service in The Loving Path provides the highest standard of care and compassion. We hope it makes the hardest moments of being a pet owner a little easier.”
