presented by
Dr. Sheilah Robertson
Live webinar via Zoom on March 25 at 7:30pm ET

Deciding to euthanize a dog or cat for behavioral or "non-physical" reasons can be ethically challenging for everyone involved. As a practice dedicated solely to end-of-life veterinary care for the past 17 years, Lap of Love handles hundreds of these appointments every month, across the country. We’d like to share the many tips and techniques we have developed to help ensure these euthanasias are conducted in a safe, effective, and compassionate manner.
This free, live webinar will review every aspect of a behavioral euthanasia plan, including:

- Mental health and its impact on QOL
- Preparation for the appointment
- Staying safe: Restraint techniques
- Staying safe: Effective sedation and anesthesia protocols
- Injectable and non-injectable techniques
- Euthanasia techniques
- Grief support
Participants will earn 1 RACE-approved CE credit upon successful completion of the quiz after viewing the webinar.
